A Winged Victory for the Sullen – “The Few of Us Left”

This haunting video, accompanied by A Winged Victory for the Sullen playing Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie’s piece “The Few Of Us Left,” is of the great salt flats of Bolivia. A new film Salero, out December 1st, details the imperiled lives of those who mine the salt flats. Not only is their way of life precarious, but those who work the flats are being encroached upon by the Bolivian government, who wants to tear the flats up to get at the lithium discovered beneath them.

Wiltzie/Winged Victory’s score for Salero is out on November 11th via Erased Tapes.

Clipping: “A Better Place” (live)

Daveed Diggs has a compelling post-Hamilton project. Check out the video for “A Better Place” below (and don’t forget to notice the HUGE modular synth rack!).

Sub Pop artists Clipping have recently released a debut album for the imprint.
