This Weekend: Out of Town Gigs

I am performing in New Jersey this weekend, otherwise I would be visiting Washington, DC to hear Megan Ihnen and Martha Morrison Muehleisen perform Kurtag’s Kafka Fragments (details below) or to Boston to hear the Czech ensemble/composer collective Konvergence (details also below): sometimes, work gets in the way of a good time and opening one’s musical mind. I hope that if you are able to go to either of these noteworthy new music events, you will.
