O Rex Gentium

Finished engraving my latest motet, “O Rex Gentium.” It is the second of the Magnificat (O) antiphons I have set. Hope someday to finish all 7 (or 8, depending on which Anglican church you attend). Choir directors: if you are looking for Latin church music for the last week of Advent or Christmas, the score is on sale through 12/1 for $2.00 per copy.

O Rex Gentium, et desideratus earum,
lapisque angularis, qui facis ultraque unum,
veni, et salva hominem,
quem de limo formasti.

O King of the nations, for whom they have longed,
the cornerstone uniting them:
Come and save the human race,
Which you first fashioned from clay.
