Friday – Duo Azure Debut

On Friday, flutists Kaori Fujii and Gina Izzo make their debut performance as Duo Azure. Their program at Yamaha Piano Salon features classical repertoire by Bach and Mendelssohn and duos by Robert Muczynski. Some of the standard fare appears in unconventional guise; cajón, a box-shaped percussion instrument, appears in some of the arrangements.
